He got his start in broadcasting on the AM side of WAKO-FM September 1959. In the early 1990s, he anchored from 11pm to 3am ET. He is a member of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. He currently resides outside of Atlanta, Georgia. ==Freemasonry== Goodnow was a member of DeMolay, and is in the DeMolay International Hall of Fame, and is also a member of the DeMolay Legion of Honor.〔Goodnow, David.
